#14 New Computer Build in Hardware
PlatypusyankeeWould you be able to use an i5-4570k and overclock with that build? Also, is there a disadvantage to using micro atx over atx? I'm planning on building soon, and I wanted to include a 4570k and GTX 760 while keeping things around $1,000 usdNo disadvantage to using mATX over ATX other than the loss of an extra PCI slot, which most people dont use anyways. Here's what i'd do for 1000:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($224.28 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($79.98 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($119.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($52.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($244.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Silverstone TJ08B-E MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($77.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $960.19
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I'd probably replace the CPU cooler with a Hyper 212. It performs well and is quite cheap at around $30. I'd also suggest not spending $100 on a case when you can probably cut back another $30. Throw that extra money towards a higher quality PSU or something.

Granted I cheated and bought the AMD FX 9370 + AMD's liquid cooling kit for $220 during cyber Monday so I saved quite a bit.

#1 Crossbow Update! in TF2 General Discussion
Medic's Crusader Crossbow now silently reloads when unholstered, similar to Pyro flaregun

Is anyone else really excited about this?

#1 Gotam Hitsound in Q/A Help

Whisker Biscuit posted a video in seanbud's stream last night and apparently he made it into a hitsound, but I wasn't there when it happened. Can anyone link me to it?
Lots of love and friendship forever.
