Sign-ups for the LAN Downunder 2019 close tomorrow 13:00 AEST!
Nine teams from ozfortress are currently confirmed playing, after sign-ups we hope to have a viewers guide available from teamfortresstv, which will have details on the teams, schedule and our talent!
If anyone is in need of an ESEA Premium code last minute, please reach out to me as ESL give me two free premium codes every month.
Daffodil-Mitch_You were stringing people along and it was never going to happenDaffodil-It would be nice to have a universal ruleset, but no actual efforts have been made by any parties towards achieving one.I didn't want to comment on this thread but that's the biggest amount of bullshit I've ever heard.
I regret not trying harder for the ESL league, we wouldn't have to deal with this mess if it was around
Sorry, what?
We had discussed a replacement league, before ESEA even announced it. Due to unforseen reasons, the managing team at HQ made the decision to not go ahead with it. I tried where possible to find a way where it worked but we had agreed it was for the best.

Hey Potch, I can tell you for a fact there are many avenues that are open for volunteers at the moment, especially with the fact we're in the middle of a league migration for the NA region.
What would you be interested in doing? Possible things could be league/tournament administrating, casting, producing or writing!
Ryan,
Your work within the TF2 and production community has helped many develop their roots in casting and other areas of esports. You're a great friend to me and many others and I hope that you continue your path towards the professional production industry.

TailorTFNow tf2 updates will be down to only one full sentence
There won't be any localization file updates cause they don't have any medals to translate...
I brought this issue up last year in a private TF2 leagues and services discord (guardians), it was only a matter of time before Valve put their foot down. I strongly suggest anyone planning to run a small sized tournament reconsider their options. Medals were a privilege, not a right.
The last 16 months have seen a massive increase in medals coming into the game, leaving less time for developers to work on the actual game. Rarely are medals 100% ready for release and cause absolute havoc for Eric and others.
Hello all,
I sent in the results to our team. We discussed the results with other colleagues, and have come to the conclusion that ESL will not be running a league for TF2.
We think it's best we don't start a league as it's unlikely we will have enough teams to play / people won't take it seriously.
I've seen the other third-party league's proposals, and I can see some great ideas popping up. I hope people will continue to play competitive TF2 in NA regardless of the discontinuation of ESEA.
If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to contact the team on the official ESL TF2 Discord: http://discord.gg/ESLTF2
Over here in Australia, we are very close to finishing a bot that will do these things. I'm sure we'd be happy to release it publicly.
features our bot currently has (or almost finished):
- Automatic booking / exec of servers (sourced from Qixalite in AU but can easily be changed to serveme etc)
- Automatic announcement to multiple servers if needed
- Option for PugChamp style team selection or medic in-game picking
- Automatic voice channel dragging for players
dashnerAsk anyone to do with Ozfortress and you'll get this isn't a solo crusade. There are plenty of people behind the scenes who are done with you Mitch.
ozfortress is a different case and I'm more than happy to have a conversation in private with them when they wish. But please stop this shitfighting instead of talking behind each other's backs like fucking children.
It's so irrelevant to this thread as well.
