I just wanna say I checked steam charts and dota indeed has stopped growing. I thought it was still expanding because the internationals kept getting better but evidently that is not the case.

ViperMercyless-also you can hope into dota and do well thanks to matchmaking. I went 27-0 on riki on my 7th game ever it was retardedly easysince it's only your 7th game i'm assuming that you have no mmr ranking, so that part is irrelevant
but also, if it's only your 7th game then your profile must be very low level, and dota matches you with players similar to that profile level afaik, so you're probably playing against players who are also very new to the game
also riki is very not hard at all, you click things and go invisible
First of all my 7th game ever was before the introduction of MMR but players still had MMR just not visible to them. So yes matchmaking is relevant. Also that was EXACTLY my point, riki is not hard therefore even casual players have options to do well in dota.
I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here.

That's why starcraft and quake are dead, and cs and dota aren't growing anymore.

Philosophical Question About Whitelists/Blacklists

There were more teams in etf2l when I first started playing etf2l around season 10 than there are now. Back then etf2l had the smallest whitelist (only ubersaw and kritzkrieg were allowed) and there were 1/10th of the tools available to new players right now and the scene was DEFINITELY much harder to discover and get into.
It is clear to me that unbanning weapons did jack shit in terms of appealing for newcomers. The vast vast majority of competitive players are in it for the competition. Rules are just a minor concern.

GentlemanJonMercyless-I updated my roster shortly after the Jasmine vs Full Tilt unknowing that I will recive extra funds and thus used all of my transfers :/ so now I have adysky there just because I couldn't afford a full roster of active playersI agree this was probably a slightly unfair announcement for those who are keeping on top of their teams but it can't really be changed on a case by case basis so I've added one extra transfer for everybody
is there any chance I can get one extra transfer to swap him out?

GentlemanJonI want to express my thanks to Beater who has been manning the log uploader all day and keeping the stats ticking over for your Fantasy TF2 enjoyment, he's done a great job with a truly thankless task.
Also as many teams have now been kicked out of the competition the average price for players has gone up so all teams have received a 10,000 budget bonus to reflect the new environment. If you've been a careful saver with your transfers you should still be able to make meaningful use of them.
