Fmapkmn- There are some others closer to the LAN (especially Hôtel ibis Poitiers Beaulieu, takes 10 minutes in walk to GA) but more expensive.
Went for this option, £200 for 3 nights in a room with a double bed and a single bed, cheaper than i58 hotel costs.
Also ferry from dover to calais for £75.
