akira Maybe he was an ignorant retard but at least he didn't fuck with the core game mechanics. I still don't know who the fuck though that nerfing stickies so much was a good idea.

Fair, but unlocks arent as aids now. Robin is/was very much a proponent of unlocks and loved seeing them be used competitively. He just didnt fuck stock weaps too. Keep in mind in a demo main but im just looking at the game as a whole yaknow.

Keep in mind robin was also an ignorant retard who wanted to use TF2 as a playground to see what is profitable. He pushed for the f2p microtransaction model, too (not that bad but still). Just my 2 cents on those saying that this is all cause no robin. The design direction has changed minimally and if anything for the better (half listening to comp players) w/out him.

  • TF Team's general ineptitude and ignorance. I get that they are well-meaning and like the game but they must be garbage at it and they don't listen to quality feedback from good players. Tack onto this just how, for lack of a better term, SHIT most updates are. IDK, as a non-pubbie non-retardoloid I don't have a constant craving for content so honestly each update makes me brace for the possibility of the game being unplayable for the next 2 weeks.
  • Pyro and Engy are clearly just leftovers from TFC that they have to have in the game since they were in the original. Spy is similar but I do like it in 6s.
  • On a related note, Spy just works really fucking bad. After almost 10 years. IDK what to say.
  • Shitty visual clutter, especially so with the new flame particle effects. Cosmetics, rocket smoke and trails you can't turn off, egregiously tacky unusual effects, most of which are gaudy looking sprites and the fact that the game is fast paced as it is makes this a huge turn-off.
  • I know they shouldn't be limited in pubs, but even still, fighting multiples of certain classes isn't fun. 2 heavies/engies is just fucking dumb.
  • The fact that I still have hope the game will ever become a big thing but in all reality the odds are incredibly stacked against it.
  • How close to videojaming P E R F E C I O N E it is.
  • I feel Scout needs to be put down a notch but despite how gay it is, it is integral to the ebb and flow of 6s.

Don't think it's fair to say older demos had better pipes they played different games. All I know is that RN Elacour has the best pipes in the world. In another era it is probably another demo. Keep in mind i also dont think elacour is the best demo worldwide nor is close when u factor in all the talent worldwide. But his BALLS are top notch.

Consider changing the SFM graphics back to Frag Vids? Was talking about this today and yeah my argument doesn't have much substance to it but I reckon a lot of others would also be in favour. It was really cool when there was that i49(?) fragvid on loop during set-up, etc.
