tf2 12v12 pseudo-competitive pick up games
I thought it'd be fun to try a few different things within tf2. I was talking to my stream chat, and some people mentioned 12v12. Obviously, there's no way that 12v12 could work as a real competitive format, but we had a pretty interesting conversation about a 24 man pug. It will essentially be a very glorified pub, tf2 the way it was meant to be played. Dynamic pushes, good comms, teamwork, etcs. I'd love to do something like this, starting tonight.
There are two rule sets that we will be trying out tonight, so bear with us. They are both subject to change, after looking at the results of each pug.
All of this is going to be organized in my stream chat where mumble and server info will be given out. I'm expecting to have everything 100% ready between 7:30-8:30 est.

I've got a mumble server hooked up, but if you have a tf2 server that can be used please contact me on steam. Rhere were a few people in chat willing but I can't remember names because I'm garbage. I have money to spend on it if needed, but I'd prefer not to have to.
I don't play, but I'm sure I'll have fun watching. I'm pretty excited.

I think he wanted to make friends. Came off a bit harsh though.
also featuring the mouthcam.

for all those of you who aint on twitter
hype. followed by more hype.
What happened? I know he wasn't here for a while, but does anyone know why?
IRL: 32 on my ACT, putting me into college for mostly free. I didn't think I did that well, so it came as a big shock.
TF2 community-wide: i49 was awesome, as was the Zowie cup. ESEA S14 LAN was a bit stalemate-y, but fun. HRG stayed undefeated for a really long time.
TF2 personal: My stream got put on TFTV and since then I've gotten 100 more followers on twitch. It's been a ride, let's see what 2014 has to bring.
hooliyour steamid is mildly interesting
STEAM_0:1:31646464woah, that's pretty neat
TheWoundedStaplerHow did I do that Stream? :D
Jump maps may not be the best choice if you're brand new to the game. It didn't look like you had done any research on proper jumping technique and you were just sort of flailing around.
You were entertaining, though, and I suppose that's what this whole series is about.
TheManWithNoNamego to memphis in may!

eXtv is basically what got me into competitive tf2. I watched a video from Sal talking about the basics of tf2, then I watched a bunch of old eXtv casts. Thanks so much eXtine for getting people involved in this game. While I prefer tf.tv's casts of most things now, eXtv was certainly the place for new people to figure out the game while having a lot of fun.
You working full time would mean nothing but good for the tf2 community, best of luck!
I'd rather watch pubs from an entertaining person with a different and somewhat unique perspective on the game than some silent dota/lol player.
I kind of understand wanting to keep it competitive, but I think we're way past the point of actually thinking there are primarily competitive tf2 streams on the sidebar. Right now the streams playing are 3 non-tf2, 2 pubs, and 1 lobby.
I'm pretty sure slin is going to lan. I'd also be willing to cast (I'll be there) but most people have never heard of me and that would be awkward.
KevinIsPwnDid you try to reinstall?
