If you can't consistently stay alive it, it's not useful to cap it.

I have found that capping your framerate at anything less than 3+2x (x being your monitor hz) will cause some stuttering effects. If you can't reliably get that fps, it's not worth capping.
AllealIs that a regular thing or did they just kiss once and piss someone off

that vod is the cringiest thing i've seen on the internet. don't watch it, don't make the same mistake i did.
edit: to answer your question, it was enough to where it was a bit much
That's really odd. Are you in a situation like sirkiddo said?
sirkiddosomething tells me you play on a laptop and when you move your hand to press R you hit your pad thing and it fires the weapon
if you play on a laptop disable the touchpad
if you play on a desktop try restoring control to default / provide more info about the problem
If so, you'll need to disable that sort of thing.
Welcome to tftv!
Do you have auto reload off? To me it sounds like you have it off and are only getting problems when you are pressing R to reload. Under advanced options, you can check the auto-reload box, and that should fix your issue. There are no downsides to auto reload, and it's pretty typical to have it on.
Best of luck. If you have any more questions feel free to ask me either in this thread, via pm, or whatever.
Null_Anything but GameMaker Studio
It's not all that bad. It's more of a hobyist's tool than a super-serious programming language. Some friends and I have made some pretty neat stuff on it, including a multiplayer rpg with a 12-20 hour playtime. I "coded" (technically marked up) a sound engine and made all the music. The people who did the actual multiplayer/ gameplay stuff have moved on to bigger and better languages, but I think it was a great start for all of us.
Try using the back port on your computer, typically much better (especially if you have other stuff like usb devices plugged into the front one). If that doesn't work, you can always get a really cheap USB sound card that will be more than enough to run your microphone through.

Super: im actually 13 11/12
In all seriousness, he's really good. Incredible for his age. If he was a bit smarter with his play, he could go far. Totally worth mentoring.
GeknaiirHow does one name a demo for siN???

Give him some time. He's probably pretty busy. If not, he doesn't want to. It's not like he's obligated to post videos for you.
From what I heard there's a fair amount of work that will have to be done before he's able to upload anything.
It's not so much about ping (though you should notice a slight decrease when switching) as it is about packet loss, especially if you're sharing a connection with someone. Typically, wired devices have priority over wifi devices as well.
That said, the change isn't always worth it for some people (like in your situation, apparently).
tragicThis guy is hilarious, who is he?

Some random guy I think. Just had a great idea.
Yeah it's all good. Quality edit as always.
#3 should have been #1 imo. I haven't seen a frag that sick in a long while.
