I've had the pleasure of working with Tragicservers.com for Newbie Mixes for the past year. Anything that we've needed to provide the newest players the best experience possible, Tragic has given us without hesitation. This experience gave me total confidence moving forward with tragicservers.com on this project.
TragicServers.com is providing us with a VPS with which to host the site, and several NA gameservers to be used. We're grateful for this opportunity to not have to raise money from the community. This allows us to avoid paywalls for different features, so everyone can get the best possible experience.
Phone is very talented, and has the potential of being one of the better IM scouts (dm wise) this coming season. Would be a great addition to any mid-im+ team.
kflayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EnRr8FLZeQ jbird did this to a UGC team I was playing w/ a few seasons ago
This video is a beautiful demonstration of why you should switch back to scout when your team is pushing out of last...
ma3la got an escape plan taunt kill in a match on granary at some point a couple seasons ago iirc. you may want to try and find that.
Team leaders, you got a tftv pm. Check it and join the discord. Also feel free to send this link to your teammates. If your team leader doesn't regularly browse tftv, tell them to come on and check their messages.
See you guys Saturday.
You have until I get back to my pc (tomorrow at 2ish est) to sign up. That's ~15 hours! Currently have a healthy number of teams signed up, but I'd like to get as many as possible. Games are one week from today REMIND YOUR TEAMMATES AND OTHER TEAMS. See you guys then!
Happy birthday, geel!
Registration ends this Saturday, just a heads up. 1 more team to make an even bracket.

A bunch of online friends of mine host an annual charity stream every march. They play a bunch of retro games for a few days and are generally just silly, all while raising money for Doctors Without Borders.
RetroramaRetrorama is an annual, live streaming, gaming-for-charity event hosted at Retrorama.NET.
Every March, a group of 8-16 friends pile into a tiny apartment living room to stream 30+ years of video games along a general theme, played frustratingly poorly. We give away prizes provided by sponsors and crafters, chat and have fun with our viewers, compete for meaningless titles and trophies, sing and dance like lunatics, and generally sacrifice ourselves on the altar of dignity for the sake of entertainment. We gladly do whatever our viewers would like in order to drive awareness and donations directly to Doctors Without Borders.
All of our events are funded completely out-of-pocket: equipment, rentals, airfare, food and lodging, advertising, prize shipping, even our time often coincides with vacation that we take from our normal jobs. Neither Retrorama.NET nor any of its members or sponsors accept any part of any donation made: all monetary donations go directly to Doctors Without Borders, and all product donations are given away as donor incentives.
Our annual live stream kicks off at 12pm CST on March 10, 2016 and goes until we either kill each other, pass out from exhaustion, or 6pm CST March 13, whichever comes first. Join us in our fifth year of inane idiocy! Why? Because we love you! <3

SideshowThe only argument for UGC is that it's free, and that appeals to people without money or without the desire to spend money on gaming. But for those who can afford to do so, going to ESEA would be a better solution for the whole community.
And this argument itself is pretty lame when you realize that by simply posting to the forums (and not being an active moron), you can almost always find someone to pay for your first season. Or by asking your team to pitch in, which almost always works. Or you can sign up through newbie mixes which (starting next season) will be able to self-sustain payments for a decent amount of users with referral link returns.
UGC is great if you just want to play a couple nights a week or goof off with friends, but looking at the UGC team signup numbers is really upsetting when you think about where ESEA would be with just a third of those signups.
And I think the post means more "don't tell people they're not good enough for ESEA" (not sure, because i'm not tino). If people want to play in UGC, that's fine. But let them know that it's called "Open" for a reason. I regularly hear the "I'm not good enough" mantra in newbie mixes, and it's something that we should really try to get rid of if we ever want our premier league (and currently best long term opportunity) to thrive.
yukiHis name is actually kevin is "pone" not "own"?
I never knew.
I pronounce it "pone", but you can say whatever. It's a terrible alias either way.
flatlineisnt this how realtourney started last time also
Yes. It's the only reason I ever got into running tournaments. It's an easy thing to do, but it takes a lot more time and consistency than a lot of people have.My tournament. The original tournament.
Also for the URLs you use, be sure users either don't change their steam url or that you list the one with numbers rather than the custom one (which you can find here). Thanks, guys.
