Two-in-a-row-bump, sorry! I'd really like to get on a team this season. I'll play in either CEVO or ESEA, preferably whichever has more competition.

Four hours of DM a day would certainly help your aim, but I can imagine you'd burn out of that regimen fairly quickly. If you're really worried about your DMing abilities, just DM/MGE/whatever an hour before your matches/ scrims. You're in iron, where it's expected for people to be learning the ropes of competitive.

But DM isn't really the most important thing. The important thing will come with time and research, and that is gamesense. Especially in lower divs. I played all class backup in steel forever ago, and was absolute garbage at aiming. I still carried my own weight because I only picked fights I knew I could win.

I use it to stream my chat, but it has a great overlay option designed by a streamer without a second monitor that wanted to read his chat.

I have a WD Green drive that I bought accidentally for my primary drive. If you don't mind a 4-8 minute startup time when you've got a few years worth of stuff on the drive, it's fine.

I'd recommend waiting for money for a better drive.

BASE/ Airstrike combo is the most fun thing I've done in this game in a while. Certainly not viable in competitive, but it certainly isn't the worst weapon. When you get to an 8 rocket clip (not too hard to do in a pub), you can do some pretty silly stuff. Part of the downside is that it uses a bit of WASD movement as opposed to pure strafing.

Also, is anyone noticing a difference with the air strike and the stock rocket launcher in terms of rocket jumping? The air strike seems much easier to pogo/ speedshot. This could just be me dealing with major placebo, but I saw it on truktruk's stream, and it seemed pretty odd. Seriously, go try it.
