biskuitI've pretty much convinced my shit that the only reason this is happening is because the TF Team is shit.
Like literally shit game developers, most of the people that were on the initial TF Team have left and replaced by some dudes who are only pushing updates just so that they have to pretend they work when they go to their office every day.

I'm quite sure that if Valve (not TF Team) wanted, they could recruit a team of good, passionate developers and a good news announcer who follows the competitive scene and the forums.

It still hurts that Robin left for Dota2.

Would there be afterburn on this? Never heard anyone justify whether they think it fits or not. I am of the opinion the answer is no.
maybe lower the base damage but instead promote tracking by having the lg's direct damage deal more if you keep on tracking for a longer time? like have the damage proportional to the time you keep your crosshair or track the player. of course tightening the spread on the flames would be needed. this could possibly replacement for the "damage over time" mechanic

I like how that sounds. Tighten the spread and make it have a longer range.
About afterburn, scale it up the longer you hit the enemy (or only set the enemy on fire after a set amount of time of sustained damage) and/or make it only happen if you hit the enemy at very close range.

also that frompyrowithlove website is a bunch of pyro mains complaining that the class needs buffs, they don't care about any of the retarded/unfair/buggy mechanics

Pretty much. They're also complaining on that website that "reflected projectiles explode on nearby friendly buildings", when all projectiles aren't able to go through friendly buildings or allies on long range.

My only gripe with this website is how it doesn't mention at all how stupid it is that airblast nullifies momentum

Edit: Reading the "letter", they're also complaining that pyros take minicrits from reflected projectiles. Really, if they're going to "fix" this they might as well not turn reflected projectiles into minicrits in first place.

I doubt that's true. Some other changes to broken weapons I'd like to see: (obviously there are more weapons that need to have huge changes in order to be acceptable in competitive play)
  • Darwin's danger shield bullet resistance only applies on non-critical hits
    (...)

Valve should take away the bullet resist from the DDS (and reduce the explosive vulnerability I guess) and apply it to the Sydney Sleeper, while taking away the faster charge rate.

Is there a way to set this so that I can still turn my head with mouse input on?? It's pretty detrimental to lose that ability.

tf_scoreboard_mouse_mode 2 only enables the mouse pointer when you press either m1 or m2.
