#10 ddrsensation, mid-open, LFT to backup S18 in Recruitment (looking for team)

I haven't played with DDR in a long time but he used to be a real solid player. Unfair Asian advantage etc etc. Really friendly and pleasant guy, too. Give him a shot, you'll love him.

#569 GXL LAN Fall 2014 in News

Please take me off the list of people who need a carpool.

We have a big SUV that's going to be starting from Indiana. We have three people so far but we'd like to get a fourth if possible since this vehicle won't be exactly light on gas. Please take a look at the route I'm about to link and if someone needs a ride that's approximately on the route add me and we'll talk.

That's a good question. Having never been to LAN, do people need to bring an Ethernet cable with their computers? And what's a good length if yes?

#14 how is this possible in TF2 General Discussion

I've gotten a lag spike before and upon coming out of that lag spike I fired two rockets stacked on top of each other followed by a third shot more rapidly than the normal rate of fire. It was bizzare. Whatever I shot at got dead.

#3 notepad layout broken? in Q/A Help

Word wrap was going to be my suggestion. Sometimes text files have these issues for some reason. It tends to be by-file for me rather than just all text files through notepad. Try opening it in wordpad and see if the formatting is still there.

#8 Desk height in Off Topic

It's a balance between desk and chair height. There's no exact right answer. See my amazing illustration from a long time ago.

#2 korea LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

I've played with Korea a bit, mostly in pugs, but also he's filled in as med on a team of mine for a short bit. He has strong movement as well as a very solid roamer game. He seems to employ a very offclass-heavy roaming style (which is imo easy, extra effective, and bad mannered in low level pugs) but honestly doesn't have to as his soldier skills are quite good. I can't comment on his calling or pocketing too much but between timing, gamesense, and precise execution he usually does a ton of work. All my times dealing with Korea he's been a really nice, friendly, and sincere person who's always giving it his all so give him a go!

#2 ptd looking for general mentor in Mentoring

ptd is really good. He was my scout this past season, and despite the season being overall unsuccessful ptd himself, personally, took his game to a new level. He was the "second scout" after Split and was generally eclipsed by him, but after Split split (that's right) ptd really put on the man-pants and did massive work for the team. He worked his ass off to up his dm and showed great smarts and awareness as well. His work ethic is second to none. He dilligently warmed up/trained up every single day before scrims and took his games seriously. He definitely gives his all and is hungry for challenge and improvement. He's a younger guy but you wouldn't know it since he's very mature and goal-oriented blah blah all the stuff I already wrote above. He was worth breaking my 18+ rule for... I almost didn't get burned by it at all. Comfortably high open on scout and no doubt a beast at anything he sets his mind to. I have much respect for this guy.
