I'm a recent dischargee and deadbeat loser with a practical engineer's diploma (look it up if you wanna). After 10 years under military discipline (including three years of compulsory service) I find it hard to actually start thinking for myself instead of waiting to be told what to do. Shit sucks.

Well, if your 70 euro mouse is having sensor issues, I wouldn't expect much of a 30 euro mouse that is most likely priced higher than its actual value because of the tie-in (and is on a 50% sale to boot, seems like nobody's buying these things).
Consider getting a Zowie EC instead, the shape seems to be similar and Zowie's reputation is better than Steelseries'. nvm the shape is not at all similar

I saw two MemphisVon vids here and not one of them was this one. For shame.
I tried finding servers when I replayed Halo for the campaign about a year ago, but the only ones up were full of glitchers and cheaters :(
At least the campaign still holds up. Also, not sure who downvoted Nation but he's right, it's the CoD sound he linked. Have you never watched montage parodies? Or played CoD?
Try Eversion, it's a bit different from the ones listed so far. It has a free version with low res graphics, but it's also pretty cheap on Steam.
Oh, and the first Dead Rising game has finally been ported to the PC this month after being console exclusive for more than a decade. It's a really good game; not scary, but still quite unsettling. Also very Japanese. The port is up to Capcom's usual standard (very high); please try it.
Seconding Alan Wake. American Nightmare is underrated, too. If you have Fallout: New Vegas, I loved the Dead Money DLC.

TF2 is quite bad with saving certain settings. It never saves voice_enable 0 if you set it from options. I really need to add that one to autoexec.
I used to make fun of my army colleague for being addicted to ArcheAge, while experiencing an OSRS relapse every now and then myself (gonna pay for a month of membership soonish, end me before I do it). Plus, I'm much more of a pathetic video game addict than he is, at least he goes outside regularly.
