AllealKeymix^ v ducks was cool
Not really. If I wanted to watch a disorganized mess riddled with unlocks I'd go spectate a pub.

That's fine, no-one is forcing you to choose what you want to watch but you might well know different people like different types of TF2, unlocks, fuckaround games, pubs, super serious tense games...etc etc.

#9 Penguin Marches: Badwater in TF2 General Discussion

You don't have to be a superstar like big 'Pussy slammin' Dave+ to post Engineer spots, they're all pretty obvious on Badwater, it is a great guide especially for newer players. Good job, keep it up.

#33 Team Québec? in TF2 General Discussion

Hi Je_Qc

I did raise the discussion with other ETF2L admins, however we would not allow a Quebecian team to participate, I am sorry. We don't look strongly at the definition of a Sovereign State or a Nation, rather we prefer to look at the term "Country", so whilst places like Scotland and Wales are countries, Quebec is still a Province of Canada. If you would like to play, please apply for the Canadian National Team, you can also apply as captain for the Canadian team if you like (The HL team hasn't had any applications so far).

Québec is a recognized nation whitin Canada, with a distinct language: french and a distinct people.
I believe there was a team Wales, a team England and a team Scotland in the last nations cup. Québec has pretty much the same status as Wales or Scotland whitin the UK, AND it has its own language and culture. It's definitely a nation. I dont see why a nation wouldn't be allowed to play in a nation cup.

Not technically true, although as stated it has been recognised as a country by the Canadian House of Commons, it hasn't been recognised as a sovereign state in it's own right by the UN or any other country. However, we're a gaming league not the European Union, so we're not as fussed. If you can find yourself a team of people, we will discuss the eligibility of allowing Quebec to participate as a Nation in this tournament. However the worry still applies, where do we draw the line? On Provinces? States? Counties? You surely can see the difficulty it puts us in...

But I will make a discussion about it on the Admin forums and we will have a look. :)

#4 Team Québec? in TF2 General Discussion

Hi there, I am an admin for ETF2L and one of the organisers of the HL Nations Cup, for both the 6v6 and Highlander nations cup we would only allow recognised countries make a National team. Since Quebec is a province of Canada, your only choice would be to apply for the Canadian national team captaincy and pick from within there (some of the best TF2 talent comes from Canada).

If we did let Quebec participate as a provident state, nothing would stop other's from making State or Province teams, for example any American could make a Team California or Team Florida side, any British person could make a Team London or Team Northamptonshire or Team Falkland Islands...etc etc.

Thought I would make this post incase you were planning on attempting to sign up a National team as Quebec because we would not allow you to sign them up.

droughti don't care how knowledgeable he is, or how jokey he's being, it would be nice to have someone writing these who has an ounce of respect for his fellow players

I can take all sorts of shit for writing a garbage article, the idea was only to make a preview because hell nobody else will and do it in a way that is fun for me and fun for some people who followed me on the UGC forums.

But I refuse to be labelled as someone who doesn't have respect for fellow players, If I didn't why would I write this article? Why would I waste my free time writing something for a bunch of people I don't like/respect? No sir, I respect every Highlander player, even Infinite. I just like to poke fun at people for cheap laughs...

#20 IGL - Why haven't you signed up? in TF2 General Discussion

Ladders aren't as good as tournaments / cups, sure a Ladder is a great starting point but down the line you need to look at implementing tournaments, I'd love to see a HL Cup of some kind, a Knockout one perhaps cos I haven't seen an NA knockout cup for over 2 years.

mustardoverlordPlease get accurate information before writing these, it's not hard to message one of us, nobody will try to rip your head off I promise.

That would involve talking to one of you, no thanks, it is much funner to interpret information based off nothing.
