#27 Trailer: Beyond the Hats (TF2 Documentary) in TF2 General Discussion

I'd suggest tracking down Polk, he's been around a while.

Depending on what you still need, I may be able to volunteer some basic assistance, we can talk.

#15 Kid lies to our face, don't pick him up. in The Dumpster

Seraph added multiple members of Dawn Patrol Highlander, my team, looking for a Pyro tryout. First, he chatted with my Scout, which turned Seraph picking on him, and a day later, I chatted him up, which at that point, I ended up joking around a bit.

#23 Florida Lan is back for 2015 in TF2 General Discussion

I would love to go to a Highlander-focussed LAN, but Florida is too far for me, heh. Best of luck to you, Miggy, and I hope you pull off the best LAN ever!

#2 Looking for Graphic/Web Designer in TF2 General Discussion

The best I can offer is ideas, drawings, and criticisms. I'm a graphic-designer in training, most of that stuff I'm still learning!

#189 How did you come up with your name in Off Topic

Started off as Hidi Crystel, playing RuneScape. Both were mis-spelled because I was 8, hahah.
Was originally a mis-spelling of "Heidi", but now I pronounce it "Heedee". I'm fine with either nowadays.

Used different aliases over the span of a couple years, but "Hidi" stuck.

#384 cp_sunshine (5CP) in Map Discussion

Some people I know have had issues when trying to play the map on my server. They've downloaded the map from the same source that I used to get the map for my server, but they were getting CRC errors. In one case, deleting other instances of the file fixed it, in other people, it did not.

Has anyone else had issues?

#7 Blackwidow Ultimate Macro Keys in Q/A Help

I get a similar issue with CS:GO with my Razer mouse.

On my desktop profile, I have some of my side buttons bound to functions like play/pause, which in CS:GO, they become bound to keys such as drop weapon.

I guess it's a Valve thing, but not one they're likely to notice and/or fix in either TF2 or CS:GO.
The only thing to do is have a different profile for TF2 and your desktop. I've noticed in a recent update, Razer Synapse will switch automatically between my desktop profile (No program attached) to my TF2 profile (Linked to hl2.exe). Not an inconvenience, but can be annoying if you play windowed and alt-tab a lot, especially if the two profile are radically different - just worth a note.

My team has agreed with Aero that we'd play test this. I've done one PUG with him so far on the map.

I'm too tired to write much now, but I will certainly let you all know how the next play tests turn out.

#4 eXtv-Vlog: The Future in TF2 General Discussion

Are there any ideas about GXL in 2015?

Given the amount of UGC players who came out in 2014, if we focused on UGC-oriented events (Organized Highlander and possibly a Sixes tournament), we could still have a successful TF2 portion of the LAN.

Personally, I see potential for growth in Highlander, since that is what appeals to budding competitive players the most, and it is what UGC, probably one of the more active TF2 hubs, care about the most.
