At GXL, I got facestabbed in a Highlander PUG, and it was so obviously BS that the Spy came up to me after and apologized.

XierilHonestly the casters and the production team really hit it outta the park this time. Gecks, Marxist, Getawhale and Yuki did their job outstandingly. Really glad to see that even though cbear's left the scene there are other amazing casters to fill the void that he left (not like you can really replace anyone, of course, but you know what I mean). The twitter/video showcase inbetween games was really neat as well.
Also, those uniforms looked awesome, and so did the intro/outro videos. (I really wanna check out the original storyboard for the intro SFM film, I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff.)
Great work, fellas.
Stream production gets better every event, awesome work being put in by everyone!
I love the intro and outro videos, they bring on the hype and make you feel sad when they close.

GXL/WCRV?

bowswer5A lot of the Highlander players who went last year want to help make GXL a big enough event again to bring back LAN Highlander PUGs and maybe another tournament. I feel like we could make it happen without the CEVO event if most of the previous attendees will care more about going again to have a great time instead of just going to play the big Invite teams we had last year.
I doubt it would be likely, given that the idea was based on the assumption there would be as much support and sponsorship as GXL 2014, but there was a light mention of doing some organized Highlander, given the amount of active Highlander players who showed up.
As much as I'd like to go to a LAN again, I'm not sure if I would go unless there was something organized like the open tournament that was at GXL 2014.
