i live in 'crime capital of canada' as they called it, meaning it was the city with the highest crime per capita. Not sure if it is anymore, hopefully not.

so i still live next to the elementary school i used to go to and there are 3 very distinct crackhouses surrounding it, one of which has been found out & shut down. I was recently offered hard drugs in said school too. kinda creepy seeing as I very rarely go there anymore.

my neighbor had his house broken into, robbed, and his wife tied up & beat. Most likely gang related.

my other neighbor consists of a drug addicted father & son living off their grandmas money, basically kinda waiting for her to die to get the house since the dad got kicked out of his own. Looks like a trailer park

mom had her car broken into & purse stolen

When I was young we used to throw rocks into traffic, we busted one guys window and he drove up to where we were and tried to run us over while we ran home

I think the crime/capita is so high because a lot of serial killers come up here. Like on the news there was a bunch of shoes with cut off feet in them washing ashore for some reason and the whole highway of tears thing. It's really not that crazy though, especially not as crazy as vancouver that place scares me. Most likely because there is so few people.
