While we're on the topic, do you guys remember when open threads would get 30+ pages of people shooting the shit? GGs, in-jokes, speculations, trash talk - it was all there, and it made for a fun time.

Now we get lucky if a division thread reaches 5 pages of teams complaining into the void that their highly problematic demomen got banned for saying a no-no word for the 3rd 4th 5th time. What happened? Did these conversations all go elsewhere, or do they just not happen anymore?

God bless the people that grind out elaborate power rankings between the divisions, they feel like the one remaining holdout of the older threads.

I had high hopes for this Pats season until both starting tackles, our best two defensive backs, and even our fucking kicker turned up hurt. It's week 4.

This is why the league shouldn't skimp on the fourth preseason game. Did they learn nothing from how bad injuries got early last season after they skipped them entirely? Players absolutely need time to play up to full speed, which seems much more valuable to a team's (and by extension, it's ownership's) success than collecting ticket sales to a 17th game that likely won't meaningfully change anything about the playoff race.

Just give us back 8-8 teams, man. Truly middling teams deserve a perfect .500.

I've heard some reports that the Deck can range from 2-8 hours compared to the Switch's ~4 hours per charge, but considering how light the Switch's hardware and games are to get that much time out of it's battery, I have my doubts that the Deck would reach anywhere close to the 8 hours it's advertised.

Remember the Sega Nomad and Atari Lynx, and how shit their batteries were? If any of you don't, that's probably the reason why.
