how has your tf2 career changed you?

I used to get mad at small things in life and TF2 helped that a while ago, in an relatively obscure way.
I used to MGE a lot and took it way too seriously. Every time I lost I felt stupid and got upset. Usually I'd trash talk which resulted in the other player trash talking, which resulted in me getting even angrier. Then for whatever reason once I MGE'd an invite (I think) soldier it all changed.
He had no problems beating me and I never made it into double digits. After every time he beat he'd call me a retard unprovoked. I didn't feel really feel good or bad. I just kept playing knowing that he was going to keep calling me retarded and I wasn't going to win.
So thanks Mangachu I guess

Hey, I've recently started playing Teamfortress 2 more than I used to (I usually stick with old 1v1 games like Rocket Arena and Quake) so I've gone to MGE servers to have fun. But a couple times when I beat players they just tell me that I'm using a crutch weapon. (the original)
I get that there's some complicated MGE etiquette that people will bitch at me if I don't follow, but is not using the original really part of it?

Headsets are a generally bad idea, but you'd have a hard time finding a better deal than this for either a headset, or headphones+external mic. The audio quality isn't anything to write home about, but it's also not terrible. The overall comfort and build quality are solid. Microphone on the siberias is pretty average as well.
I know that's not really a stellar review, but given the price it's definitely worth it in my opinion if you're looking for a new headset.
