Play a balance of both DM and MGE for the best results, imo.
MGE helps with class on class match ups and DM helps with putting these skills into a chaotic scenario where you have to change your movement and positioning rapidly to combat multiple classes at the same time in order to win an infinite team fight. If you play too much of either or both without the right mindset you will develop bad habits and transfer them into your actual scrims/matches. from my experience, if you're tilting over things that you recognise are problems in your own gameplay then one thing that you have to do is take a deep breath, and think about what you did wrong instead of "I can't fucking believe that went wrong". If you're missing shots, grind some DM. If you're dying a lot, watch one of your demos and think about what you could've done better, or not done at all. If it's an issue that somebody else's gameplay is having (say, your scout feeds 24/7, for example), instead of dwelling on it and getting more and more pissed off over time, talk to them about what they're doing and try to fix it.
