maelstrahmso ur one of those kids huh
i think you might be misunderstanding my tone of voice, not trying to sound like one of <those kids> because I know some of them irl, the types who only listen to "real music" and shit like that. I guess i am sounding pretty bitchy reading this back but I'm not really trying to be. this probably could've gone in a different thread or in no thread at all
I'm sick of people irl who don't even think about their actions
In my school's Hockey Academy (welcome to Canada, fuckers) a bunch of dumbass grade 10's were vaping in the dressing room and of course, they got caught, and we all had to skate the toughest skate most of us will ever do in our minor hockey careers. (ringette line 1,2,3 times, close blue line 1,2,3 times etc.. and 5/10/15 pushups/situps/burpees for every suicide we completed). Don't skate hard enough, the entire group had to do it again. Tight turns instead of complete stops, whoever did it had to repeat their suicide. pure agony. good cardio i guess.
A friend of mine who is just a couple years old recently got a job at a hospital. This friend was fired for what he described as a "minor theft issue". He would occasionally take bottles of coffee because he was basically there alone every night. He said to me (and his employer) that he was going to pay them off *the next day* which he did one time only, and when his employer found out that he didn't pay for a majority of these bottles he was fired because of thievery. Of course my friend complained to me about how it really wasn't a big deal but when you have a job you have to recognize that you are held to a much higher standard than everyone else and it pisses me off when people say "it isn't a big deal" about things like this in a professional setting.
On the note of the 2nd paragraph, there are people at my school (just like every other school) who can't grasp the concept of due dates and get upset when their teachers don't take in their work that is 2 weeks overdue. 1 or 2 days? sure that's fair to say that the teacher is uptight, but beyond that, I struggle to sympathize with you.
/end rant
CollaideI also considered just adding a wall similar to process (as a replacement for the beams)

don't do this. I see this as a double-edged sword because not only are you blocking spam and sightlines into last but you're also blocking spam and sightlines into main. on top of that, a wall will also make it even harder for scouts to dodge and juke around in an already pretty confined space.

wolsne mumble no longer exists. will someone accept me into their circle jerk?
I know a guy in steel named Kyle from Alaska
messiahDaggerapparently he was a very angry boi when he lost to my team and had very bad mannershah, i'm sure a large portion of the competitive community would have a disgusting taste against a backcap oriented play style on cp_badlands
I'm sure a large portion of the competitive community knows how to defend against backcaps
I had like 250 hours in the game and I stumbled across Ma3la’s rocket genius videos and was like wow this guy is super good at the game. While watching the videos I noticed the XTS tag and intro and was just searched XTS tf2 into YouTube and found a bunch of comp matches from like s16 (these videos were still pretty new when I first found them) and then I just looked up ways to play competitive tf2 and started playing tf2c lobbies. Annnd that was like 3 1/2 years ago wow
TideTF2Heavy is in a good place he just has a boring playstyle. He needs new unlocks more than anything.
Spy needs buffs to his stock playstyle and bugfixes. Pyro matchup is too one sided. Sniper should be easier for him to kill. I don't think buffing the revolver slightly would hurt either.
Pyro needs to be skill indexed. Buff the jetpack so pyro has some air control and it isn't useless in combat. Remove the range limit on the DF but make the hitbox a lot smaller and give it an arc.
Engineer could be made into more of a generalist. Speed pads and mini dispensers would go a long way to achieving this.
Sniper needs to be weaker at close range and missing should be punished more heavily considered spy is pretty much guaranteed to die if he makes a mistake. Reverse falloff of some kind and slower firing rate would be a good start IMO.
Spy is literally countered by pyro, and counters sniper so i dont see the problem. And all you have to do as sniper to kill a spy is to turn around every now and again.
Engineer doesn't need a speed pad, the soldier's whip just needs to be un banned. I like mini dispensers or some sort of dispenser that build super quickly or cause a healing aura around the texas man himself.
sniper is just fine at short range, it heavily rewards skill for hitting those sick close range shots, firing speed doesnt need changing, and falloff on a sniper rifle doesnt sound right at all.
A Tribe Called Quest is a nice guy and has a great attitude towards improving, all though sometimes he gets very down on himself he seems to use that to try and improve even more.
