Good dm, always looking to improve. Get him on a team that's committed and he'll go far. Cool guy too, on top of that.

#14 Scout LFT <Unknown>? in Recruitment (looking for team)
smoboAs a terrible player, I'm of the opinion that everyone should play an easy season in UGC or something before playing in Open. I've mentored a lot of UGC iron/steel/completely new scouts, and they are simply not even close to ready unless they have a serious FPS background or several thousand pub hours, lobbies under their belt, watched competitive casts, etc.

Going along with what mana said, some people are good at learning on the go, and they can do really well if they're thrown into the mix. Of course it will probably take some extra time/effort, but this guy seems like he's willing to dedicate a significant amount of time to tf2, so maybe he can do it.

Someone should try him out and see how good he actually is instead of assuming he should be in ugc. Who knows, maybe he can kick it in open.

#10 Demo + med lft IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

I had the pleasure of meeting and playing with these two at GXL, and they are both amazing people.
I don't think it's actually possible to play demoman better than v3kz does.
Owl's hands stop working whenever he has to shoot something, but he's a damn good medic.

They've also known each other for a very long time, so their chemistry is amazing and they know how to play off each other really well. They could easily hang in IM. Someone pick them up!

I was too tired to stay and watch the finals, and I keep hearing about how awesome the outro video was. Is there some way I could see that? The twitch VOD is muted during that part.

#27 Nick 'TheFragile' Leon in TF2 General Discussion

This was my first LAN. It was the most surreal and incredible experience of my life, and it was insanely fun. I know it was super stressful to manage all this, so a huge thank you for sacrificing your money, time, and effort just so that we all could have a great time. Looking forward to next year's.
