SaturniteExzeYou can only go up if your team actually wins. It doesn't matter how well you do in the match, if your team runs around like headless chickens, you're going down.
This is the only fair way to run it. Otherwise, everyone is going to try to play like solo heroes or else they'll get penalized for getting "carried" if they don't style hard enough.
If you then just prevent point loss on wins, then it'll be more like an exp system. It'll be too easy to gain points and too hard to lose them.
Very true, and I see your point. It's just a lot harder to go up any ranks at lower levels when 5/6 games you're actually winning, someone leaves because their team is losing, and you gain no exp from that game

BarytaQBased on your posts that you've since deleted, you probably shouldn't be anywhere near that team.
Wasn't my intention to be on the team. I'm much happier being in a ban or AC team. What I meant was that I want TF2C to set aside mods to create responses to comments or posts that they feel is in need of an official TF2C response.

I wish to see TF2C become a place that everyone can enjoy, and once our forums are back up, I'll do my best to actively work with other mods to achieve this. I've been taking in reasons why people dislike TF2C, and I have come up with some changes I wish to see, which I will post in our moderator forum.
Honestly like 90% of the problems with TF2C would be remedied if you could convince your fellow admins/mods to act professionally around others and not dilute themselves into children when some mongoloid on a forum calls them a retard or when someone gives them criticism or something.
example:
ninjaMooCowsaamcenter honestly needs to ban every single one of their mods/admins from ever trying to communicate with anyone everYou are a neckbearded retarded dick. Address people, not groups that you generalize about.
That's part of what I've already got planned. I want to develop a PR team who will handle posts outside of TF2C, so that our moderators do not end up writing things like this. I personally fell into the trap, and do not wish to do so again.

This can never happen because the most delusional and retarded admin is Masternoob and he is the one who owns/created the site. He will never admit he was wrong about anything or get new staff, the dude is a complete psychopath.
In this year alone, we've trialled 7 new staff members including myself. Some are just not interested in the moderator roles of TF2C, and so don't make it to the team. Fairy is actually behind recruiting new moderators, while MN sticks to all the dev work. We had planned to talk about some re-workings in terms of ban abilities in our latest meeting, however we had to cut it short due to the attacks on the site.

Also a re-balance of the rank system. You can only go up if your team actually wins. It doesn't matter how well you do in the match, if your team runs around like headless chickens, you're going down. TF2 is a team based game. You make pushes as a team; you focus players as a team; and you win games as a team. Any player that has played a single match in any division will know this. That's why having a team rank in leagues works since players stick with the same team, however it's very inefficient to rank a single player depending upon how their team performed. Imagine putting a prem soldier in with an open team, and putting them up against another prem team. When the open team loses, why is the prem soldier considered less of a soldier? In team coordinated games rank based systems need to be based upon a lot more factors than whether the team simply wins or loses.

I don't get your point, of course he will be banned. As long as ban request has been made a moderator will review it and then take action. Typically bans are handled in that manner, although it is possible a mod reading this thread will find the evidence posted sufficient and ban the player.
If you want to see the reasons players can/will be banned read their rules section. (once the site is back up). It covers almost 99% of cases where someone might get banned.
Aside from that this thread is about getting this player banned on etf2l so he doesn't cheat in officials.
All sensitive ban requests are handled in a separate part of the forum invisible to anyone except for mods and admins. We treat every ban request seriously, and if sufficient enough evidence is provided (such as in this case), bans are issued out as soon as possible. To speed up the processing of a ban request such as this, either provide tick values alongside the STV, or even a video such as this. As far as I know, this user was banned for hacking.

A day or two from now. The DDoS attacks have stopped, but we're changing some stuff to increase our DDoS protection. The TF2C team apologises for any inconveniences this may have caused.
