#7 Unstable FPS in Q/A Help
hurrykannThat might be true, since you seem to be using a wireless connection. I highly recommend you get a wired connection, since I doubt your router and WLAN NIC is powerful enough. You could just grab a simple GPU such as nvidia GT730 or a AMD R7 250.

I removed some network "optimizations" that chris gave me and I locked my fps at 60

Will test around 3am and post results

#4 Unstable FPS in Q/A Help
hurrykannI am uncertain about what might cause frame drops and ping spikes. However could you answer these questions?
Have you checked temps on the whole computer, as in motherboard, cpu, gpu and etc. Is the computer dusty inside? Did you do an upgrade or clean install of the OS? Have you checked if the HDD isn't dying or having troubles?
I don't know if you can or want to upgrade the whole system, but I will assume you can't due to budget or so. So small tips, get a new GPU, clean the CPU and it's old thermal paste, buy a new CPU fan if you can, overclock the CPU(without damaging it). Buy more memory, as in buy a fresh pair of 2x2gb ddr2@800mhz sticks. Get a new fresh HDD and do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit.

Temps stay at 50c all of the things you mentioned

I have a GPU in a "newer" pc (gpu is like few hundreds better)

HDD Isn't dying no clicks of death (pc hasn't been used for a while)

OS is a fresh install

Don't think I can overclock my CPU

Can go up to 4gb so I'll see what I can do there.

Anything else it's fine, I also want to know some nvidia profile settings for tf2

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=35829106#post35829106 that's the steam version of this thread and they are saying it's a network issue

#1 DuffCreeper LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

I'm DuffCreeper and I'm looking for a low open since I'm new to the comp scene

I don't have a good experience when it comes to competitive but I would like for a team to give me a chance

I'm able to play tf2 24/7 expect for 8AM to 4PM due to school, but I'm willing to wake up if my team is in a different time zone

I mostly play, Scout and Soldier with a little engineer on the side

I guess my goal in the tf2 competitive side, is to generally improve on my aim as a scout and skill in general

If anything, I'm usually a skilled player but in the comp scene? I wouldn't have a clue

Recently used chris high frames and get a NICE 120 fps but I have one issue, The frames are like soap they are all over the place and the spikes are the cause. Ping is under 100

It's recently been os upgraded so it barely has any programs

I used game booster, nope
Updated GPU drivers of nvidia, nope

TL;DR
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
CPU: Core 2 Duo E4700
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8400
RAM: 2gb
Resolution: 1280x1024
