Lewis also has some of it coming, he's done a lot of offensive and shady shit in the past to get ahead (some of it necessary since everyone does it, some of it not).

Either way, i'm more surprised that tf2 was "dieing" in 2010, when it was smaller than it is now. All contact we had with the devs was through a man who doesn't explain why having a varied meta with more options is better than a non-varied standard meta. He just states something to be true, and if you disagree you are wrong, even though there he gives no reason why he thinks what he thinks and ignores anyone asking him why he has that opinion.

I usually follow a basic format when cooking and just use my imagination. I tend to only cook for myself, so even if I cook something that looks like it shoulda come from the devils bile glands, I still eat it.

A protein, a carbohydrate, veg, and a sauce.

I cook a lot of teriyaki salmon/chicken with rice and green beans/broccoli. Pretty easy and nice imo. I prefer salmon.

Soy sauce, mirin, honey, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Mix together. You are going Marinade meat whilst rice cooks. Cook meat and veg for however long they take. For about 10-20 seconds before meat is done, dump rest of sauce into the frying pan and coat the meat in the sauce whilst it bubbles and reduces. Don't cook too long or sauce will burn because of all the sugars and get really thick (still nice, but just not as nice). Pour over rice and serve veg on side.

Takes about 30 mins to cook/prep for any number of people.

Spent a long time in this game. I always try not to regret anything that has kinda fucked my life to a certain extent. So no, I don't regret the time I've spent.

I don't regret mistakes I make with my life because they help me learn. TF2 was also not a mistake, more of a result from the mistakes.

Reasonable ban. People fuck up sometimes and should be kicked from a community for it. Age, mental state, irl problems etc. None are an excuse. Some attitudes don't belong in some communities. The fact it's only 5 years and isn't an irreversible perma ban is already more than reasonable imo.

Look at it from another point of view. If someone was to heavily insult a dead friend/family member, would you want to keep them around? Would you forgive them? Would you never talk to them again? What would you do?

Some other things should be considered equally awful. Like being a paedophile. However, a lot of the behaviors nonces get banned for are not for kiddy diddling, but just for sending one out of order message to a minor.

I really respect the protection that underage people are getting online from leagues now. Often they don't know any better and need the help to stay safe. But always remember, it's a ban in an online game. Not a real world punishment. The severity of a ban should be closely related to things that attack the league and players directly through the league, since that is what they control. Not based on things that happen outside the leagues power.

I know it would be nice to live in a perfect world where these behaviors are nonexistant, or the league would ban and remove all of these individuals from the community, but that is not possible without other problems. The first isn't possible, and the second would mean the league is exercising authority where it does not belong, which is equally as bad, if not worse than banning all these people permanently.
