I wish valve would update it and more people played. I also wish it were as easy to queue up for TF2 as it is another game like OW or CSGO

Saga may be rough on the outside but once you get to know him he's a great teammate. He's always willing to stick around after scrims and discuss/demo review to improve. Definitely a guy who deserves a solid team and will do whatever it takes to get better. Did I mention he's a great medic?

I've enjoyed my time spent on a team with prc. I may not know of his actions outside of scrims, but he always shows up with a good attitude and spirit. IIRC the one time we had smesi ring for us, he kept making snide comments of how he didn't want to heal or how he wanted to drop prc, and this was met without return from prc. Just my 2 cents.

This was my first lan so I’ve got a bunch of shoutouts.

First shout out is to my teammates boybill and saga for traveling from so far that we could show the community what our team has to offer in a competitive setting.

Second of all shout out to jay, gritoma and exerb for hanging out and being really great teammates with us at our first lan.

Shoutout to andrew, It was awesome after all these years to not only meet you, but get to pugscrim with you as well as compete against you at lan. An awesome thing to experience.

Shoutout to my man Sigh, I’ve known you for so long and meeting you at lan just hit me with nostalgia of all the dumb shit we used to do together in mumble. Watching you compete made me regret not continuing to play this game all these years. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we meet one another.

Shoutout to the boys, Brush, entropy, Bobby, bubbzi, Freddo, snarken, Bryaun, Yall honestly made the lan for me and the boys. We were a bit disappointed no one was urgently looking to pug or scrim and even though we were a bit better than you guys, you were all itching to keep scrimming us and it made all of our experiences all the more worthwhile. Playing some pugs after the tourney with you and sigh really made my weekend, it was a pleasure gaming and meeting all of y’all.

Shoutout Pablo/TheFridge, thanks for taking some time out of your night to talk to me and boybill about some tf2 during the finals. Really made my night and was so great to meet you.

Also Yerb, Same sentiment, I introduced myself to you as the golden cap of finals started and you were more than happy to spitball tf2 with me as we watched, may have meant a little to you but made my night.

Everyone else: it was so nice seeing all your faces and having the chance to introduce myself to the players I have the privilege of sharing my passion for this game with. Meeting the people I get to play with game with on a nightly basis was honestly so cool. The community we have is truly something special. I have so many good things to say about this lan and can’t wait to make it to the next one.

Finally, thanks to everyone who made this lan possible for all of us to enjoy. Your work truly pays off in a big way.

But besides that if RGL canput up a LAN as well as everything else listed it might be a good place to start. Dare I say they have been *gaining traction* and a playerbase in the TF2 community, having all of the "subcategories" of TF2 under one org wouldn't be awful. While I'm sure no one here really has taken RGL seriously thus far, I'm sure many people have messed around in one of their leagues, and maybe this could be a chance for them to prove themselves.

I don't know a whole lot about anything, but to me this is the most important part of the article. Everyone says how much they love and care about this community and its success, but it seems like everyone is on their own team here. What is the reason for the divide? Profit? Ruleset? Map Pool? I feel like players would continue playing if there were just one league. It would create a more linear path where they could start at the lowest level and grind to the top. I feel like a lot of players have the experience of:
-Playing TF2
-Wanting to get better
-Participating in a free league
-Graduating to ESEA after gaining enough experience.
I feel like that gateway from UGC to ESEA is where the community loses a lot of potential players. And I believe that in the ideal scenario for TF2 to succeed there would be one league where players can pug/mix, organize scrims, and play their matches all one one platform. Sure other games like CS:GO have afforded having ESEA, Valve MM, and Faceit/Cevo whatever other clients, but the competitive playerbase is insane compared to TF2s.

People say the first episode was boring but so many huge plot points were hit:
-Jon found out his true identity.
-Cersei has asked Bronn to kill Tyrion
-Theon saved his sister.
-Epic final scene
What more could people want from a first episode, there's a lot of good setup here imo.
