#23 Feeling 'Off" in Q/A Help

1) Keep your sensitivity at what feels comfortable. If you feel you can't react fast enough to scouts or something fast, raise it. If you're overshooting, lower it. If you're undershooting, raise it. Just don't change it a whole lot. You won't magically have perfect aim after 1 or 2 days of using a new sensitivity.
2) Don't play for ridiculous amounts of time without taking a break. You'll just feel like shit if you play too long, especially if you tense up when you play (don't do that).
3) Find a HUD that YOU like. Just because b4nny or yz50 uses something, doesn't mean you'll do just as well with it.
4) If you're having an "off" day, just focus on what you're doing well with that day. So, if your aim is off done day, practice your movement. If your movement is off another day, practice your aim, etc. That way you make the best out of your time. You always need to be working on something. Eventually this will come together and you'll learn to adapt better. And off days are normal; treat them as an opportunity to improve.

#10 Program for finding dpi? in Hardware

1) Flip the mouse over
2) Look for a model number
3) Google the model number and find the specifications. Your DPI should be listed. If not, there's nothing you can do about it.

I use dxtory. OBS Makes my computer feel like shit when I play. It'll feel like 30fps but show 200+ on the netgraph. It's not worth it. Just use FFSplit and Dxtory and be done with it until you can fix OBS.

#18 MGE iT duplicate in TF2 General Discussion
klananaSo... what you're saying is you want MGE iT Not-So-West

I gotcha.

People don't connect to MGE iT West because the map never restarts unless the sever is power cycled. So, after an hour or two it gets choppy and lags a lot.

#4 Crt Help in Off Topic
demannuJust use pliers or what lol

Just use a pair of needle nose pliers on pin 7 to snap it off. Just don't break off/bend any other pins and you should be good to go. GL and remember, snap it off on THIS SIDE (below). Do it at your own risk. And look CAREFULLY at the picture to ensure you don't snap off the wrong pin.

I have the same exact monitor and i cant get the refreshrate to 170hz at 640x480? The max it would go is 140hz@640x480. Please Help :*(

140Hz is fine. But did you remove pin 7 like that guy said? If not, I suggest you do so.
