I'm actually curious as to why it was locked as well. Seems like a strange decision to make as the discussion although away from the original topic, was interesting in its own point. Isn't the point of these forums to be able to discuss things?
popcorpDo people want a new Koth map in 6v6? I'm trying to make a new Koth 6s map but I don't know if there's a demand for it, since I see people discussing only CP maps atm. And if there is, what makes a good 6s Koth map?
Don't make the spawn -> point distance too long. Pay very close attention to respawn wave times as well as cap time, these things can change the feel of a map drastically (lookin at you cp_standin).
i've never played it but i've got cod 4 in my library.. If i'm around ill play :)

Although as I said earlier I like the current version of Yukon, I can see why others wouldn't.
I feel like if there was a pro version the shack overtop of cp 2 should be removed, as should the large rock structure the blocks the sightline from lower entrance.
I think the longer corridors are fine as they present you the option of taking a longer (but less visible and potentially safer route) or taking the shorter but easier to spam out route. (that is if we are talking about the corridors connecting mid to second.
When pushing from left side to last, it should probably be a bit closer, or at least have a top mid/left exit on the left so you can get to the point without running against the heavy minigun gauntlet.
Someone make an arena map with 2 plant zones and a bomb like in de_csgomaps. Would be cool to use the pass time ball, so the bomb carrier had to be protected or good at throwing it around. No idea if it would be good in comp but it would be fun to try out even as a pub map.
It's currently a good map. I think the old version just left everyone with a distaste for it.
gonna give it another go. I enjoyed it casually the first time around.
