Hi! I'm Cygnus, and this is my first serious venture in 6v6.

I've played on a for-fun 6s team with some friends before and I watch most of the big casts/events, but some of you may know me as the Pyro (heh) for the Platinum HL team Baby Punching Marathon (2nd place this season).

I'm planning on MGEing a shitload so my middling DM will almost definitely improve over the season, and I feel my understanding of Uber Advantage and player advantage will transfer over well from HL.

I've been doing pugs in #tf2mix a lot and I add up to pug.na but haven't been picked yet (heh).

I'm looking for a team of players that really wants to improve and get their shit stomped for a season so they can do well next season.

From what I understand the pros can't play with machine skins because, when the enemy Spy disguises, he shows up as a enemy human. :(

Either:

1) That is a small mouse
2) That is a big keyboard
3) That is a small kid
4) All of the above

While there are some communities that behave the way you're describing (I've experienced them firsthand, I put my feelers out to multiple communities and got positive responses from more than just Lotus, and I think it's really just a matter of actually stepping up and DOING it, like people in this thread are saying. Lotus (and others) were just like "uh, okay, sure!"

Admittedly the promotion could have been done better but I think this is the first time something like this had been done and it was a learning experience. :)

As others have said though, promotion is great but we need the material here for viewers. I don't really know if I have the voice/gamesense to cast but camerawork seems like something I could do and I'd love to figure out the intricacies of that sometime soon...

I'd prefer the transparent viewmodels. That was always something I was jealous of people who used OpenPlugin.

Def needs a transparent/less intrusive looking overlay.
