FireIf you use steam openid (aka login with steam) you will always enter your credentials on steamcommunity.com and not on the websites domain.
this is true but be careful as some websites (like the one OP mentioned) use popups with fake address bars that look like steamcommunity but aren't.

Well the goal of this, is not to prove that this format is amazingly fun. The goal of this is to get as much real feedback as possible to give to Valve to help bring the comp community and Valve closer together.
Whether that's finding out, this is an amazing format or finding out it has issues that need to be resolved and here's the evidence to prove it.
I think all parties are going to be able to take away something positive from this event.
i can kind of understand it if that's the approach you were going for but i think just having a no whitelist league would have been a better approach in that case
