The only was I can see she's really made mge better is by updating oihguv, it's not like her servers are revolutionary by any means. 200 tick has become a popular gimmick in the past few months and multiple servers have started implementing it as a test to see what high tickrate tf2 does to competitive training modes. Unless there's other things I'm missing with her server I don't see the validity in the "made mge better in an objective way" claim

While I can't speak for everyone I know most of my friends and people I pug with would prefer to have just scout/soldier (demo on some maps like blands mid) since the vast majority of other class v class duels are really unfun and unrealistic of what types of fights you'll be taking. Combine this with the fact that pubbers often do take up mge arenas and slots forcing people to not use that arena (i cannot count the amount of times I've added to gran last to find a sniper, heavy, or pyro on an allclass server) and it just kinda goes to show unless it's one of the maps like mge_duel that has ulti built in, scout/soldier/maybe demo are the most accepted classes in MGE and most should be locked out

While I know that the trans community in TF2 has recieved its very unfair share of hate for being who they are, steph's getting downfragged because her points are wrong, not because she's trans (at least from what I can tell).

Microwave only meals is honestly such a good value at 2 points, there a lot of frozen microwavable meals that are on the healthier side, plus still being able to have snack favorites like pizza bagels/pizza rolls/hot pockets/chicken tenders.

With internet access and a high end desktop, could still reliably be able to do remote esports casting and production. The main brainchild of my 10 year basement confinement is the workshop, drugs, and internet access.

Been looking into guitar luthiership for a long time and this would be a great opportunity to hone in on the craft and use the internet to keep up with modern practices and be able to look up anything I needed to on a whim. The drugs are there partially for recreational cannabis/LSD use, partially for inspiration for guitar design. While instrument construction is a fine art, after 10 years of combined trial and error and feedback from internet forums, guides, and videos, should be able to produce a relatively large quantity of quality handmade guitars to put onto the market and make for myself.

If you're looking for some competitive TF2 to look into, the main North American league, RGL, is currently moving into playoffs, and the main European league, ETF2L, is right in the midst of their season. A lot of the teams you'll see at Beyond The Summit are currently competing in one of these two leagues, so I highly recommend tuning into RGL or Teamfortresstv's live coverage to get a glimpse of what pro play is like, as well as start looking for a team to cheer for. There is also an Asian team that's been confirmed for BTS (see this thread), however I'm not up to date with the SEA scene and not sure what the league seasons are looking like for that region.

Just wanted to highlight this part of the blog post; while it has been mostly beneficial for this conversation to be had by the community and has resulted in exposure of these incidents, now that there is a proper reporting system in place for these situations I am going to recommend that people avoid using the forums as a platform to chase out people in the community (including this thread), and instead use the reporting form linked in the thread and above in Lightbringer's post. This is to help avoid hive mind targeting of any known or suspected individuals; while what they have done might be wrong, pushing them to the point of self harm in the most aggressive way possible is not an ideal solution.
