high ping for no reason?

tiptoesI live in NJ and I have fios internet which is really good and I'm getting 300 ping to every server that isnt NJ or NY. Keith who also lives in NJ is getting the same thing. IDK whats happening.
I have Verizon FIOS as well, probably an ISP thing :P
