I know most people probably are already paid up for this season, but for those who aren't, those planning on participating in a season during this year, or are CSGO puggers this is a really good time to buy it. It's 10 bucks for 3 months (essentially the duration of this season) and 30 bucks for 12 months (essentially the next 2-3 seasons). With how much of a barrier cost can sometimes be (especially for newer players) too good to pass up, especially if you plan on playing any season this year.

In CSGO valve determines the 7 maps in the pool that will be played out at the major events and that are considered "Active Duty" in the in-game MM pool, and leagues tend to shift their map pools to align with valve as soon as they can. maps are usually rotated out based on community feedback, reworked, then go into the map pool while another is taken out for reworking.
Unfortunately going that route right now for tf2 would mean we would be playing turbine, swiftwater, and foundry.

Memes aside, had a fantastic time at this would-be huge LAN. Shoutouts to samiface, dashner, worms, Tom, shark, bilbert, Mallory, grumpy, etc (if I'm missing you I'm sorry tired and at airport) for making this week a huge blast despite the lack of TF2. Hope to see y'all at next LAN (this time with more TF2)
