#26 Zaboomacrew LF Backups ESEA-O in Recruitment (looking for team)

team has put up very surprising and amazing results so far this season. Their team chemistry will only get even better as the season progresses. Best of luck on finding backups.

#14 nvidia drivers in Hardware

Nvidia Drivers lately have been pretty hit or miss depending on your luck. The new drivers just add graphical tricks like TXAA and what not and only affect mainly the 680 gtx and possibly the 670 gtx as well.

#4 GPU for 1080P tf2 in Hardware

what #3 said. My rule of thumb is buy the best single gpu you can afford. To me an amd 7950 or 660ti are really good values for the performance they give you. Typically $300 gpus are what I would suggest, while $200-250 is the bang for your buck performance wise. Unless you want to benchmark or really like to set graphics settings on max with ridiculous amount of AA and AF, $500 and above gpus are really not worth it imo.

#30 DHERO looking for 2 in Recruitment (looking for team)

marxist is a really chill guy that knows the ins and outs of this game. pharaoh is a beast player. it would be a great shame if this team folded.

#3 Wu-Tang Financial looking for a pocket or medic in Recruitment (looking for team)

great team and people. They almost made the playoffs last season. It's unfortunate they are sitting at the current record they are, but really this team is a lot better than their record indicates. Best of luck to your team Radium.

#23 PSU, PC case and RAM? in Hardware

Fractal Arc Midi, Lian Li PC-9F, Haf 922, 500r, cm storm, antec 302 are all pretty good atx cases.

#19 PSU, PC case and RAM? in Hardware

I would just get a modular gold-rated psu as they are not much more expensive than a modular bronze-rated psu. That being said I would buy from any of the following brands: Seasonic, XFX, Rosewill Capstone, Corsair. If you just want to go with a bronze-rated psu, Antec or PC Power and Cooling are good alternatives.

#12 PSU, PC case and RAM? in Hardware

antec 302 is a nice, cheap case. As for psu if you're going for single card configuration, a good 550 watt is really all you need as your components are very efficient: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151119&Tpk=seasonic%20550. I have a 670 GTX with an i5 3570k@4.0 ghz with a gold-rated capstone 450 watt psu and it runs without any hiccups. Ram you could just get any 1600mhz ram (mushkin, g-skill are good and reliable ones).

#5 Problems with GTX 480 (?) in Hardware

I usually only update my drivers like after 4-6 months later. The newest drivers are not always the best, especially since your card is rather old now (500 and 600 series out already). I would only update if you have the 600 series cards as there is much to improve drivers wise for those cards. As for the 480GTX, the newer drivers don't improve performance (only for the 660 ti-680 GTX cards pretty much) and just add features like TXAA (new anti-aliasing feature) and fleshing out FXAA.As others have said, roll back drivers for nvidia and update MSI afterburner and make sure your voltages are reasonable for any OC ing you did on your gpu.

#9 6 inches unbuffed Looking for soldiers in Recruitment (looking for team)

I just play backup demoman for them, but everybody seems to get along quite well and are intent at getting better. A pocket that can comm well would probably really give this team a big lift and alleviate the disorganization or miscomms.
