uberchainI'm gonna bump this since I want the i58 Schedule Set thread kept as the i58 Schedule Set thread since that thread's actually important and this one's still sort of on topic for skins. I appreciate everybody's eagerness for them; I also understand those that don't like or want the skins and I respect your opinion so as long as you've got good feedback as to why you don't want them or you respect the effort. I don't really want to make this an "I'm doing this for free you ungrateful turds" post (which btw 99.9% of those posts are absolutely justified). We didn't get as much survey feedback as we wanted back from ESEA S17's reskin surveys beyond collecting data from r/tf2, TFTV and Twitch chat, and I forgot to set up surveys after ESEA S18 and i55.
http://i.imgur.com/w1oOK6g.pngAt some point a League of Legends skins idea was pitched but was scrapped because we didn't want to test this out for i58, due to how jarring it might be as well as silhouette shapes and fucking with Valve's designs. (I also don't actually know where to get a Demo hoodie model though that'd be sick.) Ideally in a future where this prospers and pays off, items that can be decal'd with the teams and bought to fund them or fund tourneys seems like the way2go. For now, we're leaving in more TF2 Team Colours to keep with the palette, with enough design to basically be unique and not just copypasta logos. Should the trend eventually just go towards copypasta logos + no design or brand colours for other tourneys because matching green with red is fucking painful, that's alright too.
