#4 Novuna lft med high open/low im in Recruitment (looking for team)

Novuna's a cool guy with a good knowledge of the game. He doesn't rage ever and his heals are distributed well most of the time. He'd do well on a higher open team (main calling or not).

#1 CJ- looking for roamer mentor in Mentoring

Looking for a roamer mentor to review demos with and learn from, etc. I am playing on what should be a high open team in S15. Looking for someone either in higher IM (or higher) or someone that was once at a comparable level.

Add me, help me get good and stuff. http://steamcommunity.com/id/cjr605

#4 Söapy (Medic/Scout) LFT Mid-High Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Soapy is a cool guy and a great player. Very fun to have in mumble but serious when the situation calls for it. Makes great calls which highlight his good gamesense, and his aim on scout has quickly improved to a very respectable level. I haven't played much with him as a medic, but he's certainly smart enough and vocal enough to do very well on it.

Also, hit him up for making that team :D

#164 Who got you into comp TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

Through BFC highlander "scrims" I saw that people were very good at the game. Saw Secs move towards a higher skill level, and Zak/Blindtalent continue towards invite. They helped out along the way when I had questions. Also remember playing Boomer in a random highlander "scrim" before he was invite, and getting destroyed.

#6 Will playing on multiple monitors increase the FOV in Q/A Help

I'm pretty sure a lot of it comes down to how your computer recognizes those monitors. For example, if you just plug in two monitors, your computer recognizes two monitors of their respective resolutions, not one giant monitor of their combined resolutions. As a result, I'm pretty sure you can only set your TF2 resolution to the resolution of one of your "recognized" monitors.

On the other hand, you can get a computer to recognize multiple monitors as one giant monitor. If you use multiple GPU's you can enable NVIDIA Surround, which recognizes resolutions like 5760x1080 (which you can then set TF2 to run at). Pretty sure the same is possible for AMD CrossfireX. Maybe there are other programs out there that can force Windows into some wonky resolution such that it thinks you are using one monitor of strange resolution, not two of the same (or different) resolution.

#48 110 fov in TF2 General Discussion
OdissiusYeah that first image is no longer possible due to Valve restriction the FOV ratios even when running really wide resolutions. It makes it so that no matter how wide your res, the FOV will always be 90.

No it's definitely possible, considering I just opened my game, changed it to full screen 5760x1080, and took the screenshot.

CarlCJ-CarlWhen I used to play with 3 monitors / eyefinity I had ~140 degree fov

That was 3 or 4 years ago though, don't know if it still works.

It still works but only if you are on full screen 5760x1080 (i.e., no borderless windowed mode).

Strange. What happens if you play borderless windowed? Does it letterbox you?

Not sure what letterbox means. It looks really strange, like it zooms in on what you are looking at to the point at which it is unplayable and feels really strange. I'm pretty sure it zooms such that your FOV is still 90 (but I'm not sure). Images for comparison:
