I'll agree that unless you've actually been on a team with a person you've probably never seen the full extent of their character.
But I don't think that excuses anyone from being an asshole to others on the outside. Like "oh I was a shithead to you in the ingame chat and forums but it's totally ok because I'm not like that in mumble". How does that work?
