#6 Weird inventory thing that crashes my game in TF2 General Discussion

Since the new Christmas Update my game stutters for 2 seconds when i press the forward button in my tf2 backpack or also if i want to choose a other loadout or equip other weapons.
But after i scrolled trough all the pages in my backpack it works flawlessly again.

Has anybody got that too?
And how can you fix it? :(

#7 Weird Stutter not related to FPS in Q/A Help

Another reason could be that it is probably a micro sutter caused by your GPU.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micro_stuttering)
1.Update drivers
2.Open your case ,look if theres any dust in there or something that could get into the GPU.
3.Check the temperatures after long hours of gaming ,again to be sure.

Maybe there could just be something wrong with a Pc part of yours.
But hopefully its just really your mouse.Try to get a other random mouse and plug it into some other USB Port and see if that fixes it.

#8 Tf2 Fps Problems in Hardware
ComangliaBlackMirrorAh idk man ,its pretty much not even when theres a pyro.
I dont notice any fps problems when pyros are nearby so it has to be something else.
But ill be trying it out tho.

Well the only other problem that could be going on is your power options not being high performance.

Hm a friend of mine said that too but ive been told 650watt was more than enough for my rig.
I also know people that run a similar rig with 2gpus with 650Watts too.
So that shoulnt be the reason. The PSU could still be broken tho.

#3 Tf2 Fps Problems in Hardware
ComangliaYour problem is DX9 http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/13870-poor-framerate-with-dx9-fire

since 6s doesn't have pyros that often you never suffer from how poorly TF2 DX 9 handles fire, but in HL their's at least 2 pyros, and odds are you're standing near burning players when you experience your fps drop.

Best way to fix this is run in DX 8.1
in case you don't know how to do this
Goto Launch Options for tf2, and put in "-dxlevel 81" without quotes

Latest Nvidia Drivers that works with DX 8.1
32bit: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/win8-win7-winvista-32bit-306.97-whql-driver-uk.html
64bit:http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-306.97-whql-driver.html

#1 Tf2 Fps Problems in Hardware

Hey guys so i was always wondering why i have such a unstable fps in tf2 tho such a beast pc.
With Highframes fps config i have 292 fps if there is not much happening or in 6s.
But in Highlander it goes crazy and sometimes even drops to 60 fps.
Some months ago i also had some Bluescreens maybe it could have something to do with that?!

Specs:
CPU: Intel i7 3770 @stock
CPU Cooler :Noctua NH-D14
MotherBoard:Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3
GPU: Evga Sc Signature 2 GTX 680
PSU: Corsair Tx 650Watt

Edit:There is no dust to find in the case.Drivers are also updated.Didnt overclock anything either.

Thanks for your help :)
