I think that problem was caused by the new "fixed" surface font that made numbers proportional and kinda of threw a bunch of stuff out of whack on the scoreboard. I think you should be able to fix it by increasing the wide value a little bit. Also make sure to fix that little cutoff part at the very bottom, I can upload my scoreboard from 2.5 but it's 12v12 in both minmodes and it might be a bit offcenter as I switched a bunch of stuff around to get the server timers to line up with eachother.

That's the HudSpellSelection.res file
to make this work properly you will also need to add this to clientscheme
surfaceNumbers40
{
"1"
{
"name" "Surface Numbers Medium"
"tall" "40"
"additive" "0"
"antialias" "1"
"outline" "0"
}
}
and this to hudlayout
HudSpellMenu
{
"fieldName" "HudSpellMenu"
"visible" "1"
"enabled" "1"
"wide" "640"
"tall" "480"
"zpos" "2"
"xpos" "183"
"ypos" "r90"
"TextFont" "surfaceNumbers14"
"ItemFont" "surfaceNumbers14"
"ItemFontPulsing" "surfaceNumbers14"
}
All of this is assuming you're using Broeselhud or have the Surface-Numbers font installed with your hud.
crespiOkay so I'm adding a post because I found something really strange and interesting. This might be useful information though, because what I'm seeing means that these errors might not be caused by the hud [broeselhud].
So let me just give you a comprehensive example of my observations.
launch tf2
join any server
for this example, say I join an mge server.
mge spawns you as scout in most arenas when you first add up
firing any gun as scout yields no errors in console
switch to soldier
fire a rocket = a large (but one time only) page(s) of console errors appears.
-so it appears that firing a projectile makes the errors pop up
but here's the weird part
So by default, my rocket launcher is bound to q, and when I press q, it turns off viewmodels.
If I press mwheeldown, it will toggle my viewmodel on
If my viewmodel is on, the console does not stop producing the multitude of errors.As soon as I toggle the viewmodel back on, the flood of errors only appears for a moment -- what seems to be roughly aligned with the duration of the rocket launcher's animation/sound when +attack is returned.
Hope that wasn't too boring and long.
Have you watched any demos recently? I know there's some weird shit with configs and POV demos that causes all sorts of messes.
Halloween stuff on broesel, used a numbers only font so the ... stuff doesnt show up when you don't have a spell.
I know theres some console command a lot of people use with their scoreboard that tells you when the next spawn waves for each team are exactly. Not as easy as the spec GUI but better than nothing I guess.
It was poorly worded, basically you can see how much ammo your patient has in their current clip. No way of checking weapons however.
I restarted steam once or twice to get it to work
try doing host_writeconfig blahblahblah and see whats going on with yo mouse buttons. If that does not help try looking at your driver software and see if they're funky in there, I remember by default the side buttons on my DA were bound to like use item and ptt ingame.
I think his is default with a couple modifications like damage numbers color and size.

Demoman rollout, will probably do the soldier one later.
Try removing all custom stuff and putting -autoconfig in your launch options as this will put everything back to default. Even if you remove the configs from your cfg files they will keep their values until overwritten.
Have not tried this but I know theres an option with steam to not draw hud in tf2 screenshots so that might be worth a shot?
