flameimo it would be better if you changed just the color of the number or added a small indicator like an '!' or something to indicate new posts. the blue font is hard to read on the sidebar and thats coming from someone with 20/20 vision.
I agree completely. The number of new posts is not going to change what i do (open the thread to read them) whether it's one or twenty. It looks unbalanced as it is.

i played this so much in my mid teens
I've always found these types of games (gotta mention tactics ogre whenever fft is mentioned) really difficult to get into because the sheer amount of party customization can be so daunting.
However, for the same reason, they are my favorite games of all time (excluding tf2 of course) because building your strategy and your characters feels so rewarding. It helps that both fft and tactics ogre are extremely well done and their stories are amazing. just getting past the five hour hump is so difficult for the first playthrough
Glad to see new players not afraid to lose. Getting smashed your first season is like a right of passage for those brave enough to face a real challenge.
