#35 howto: use dx7 and break the game in Customization
AbridgeI could get the fading props when on a local server but I didn't get it working on pubs. Only real plus when on a pub was that I don't have to restart my game to get the game into dx8 anymore.

Edit: nevermind i got it working http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=783913951

How did you get it working?

Which configs are compatible with this? Dxlevel 70 or 96 configs?

Well, when medic megaheals someone, the guy just looks like he got dunked in ugly red/blue paint. And there's no magical glowing ring coming from his feet. I'm quite sure that's a good indication the graphics are below dxlevel 80.

When I use configs for this, should I use dxlevel 70 configs, or dxlevel 96 configs?

Would I get VAC banned for using this?

I'm using this and it's awesome; I so far have found no problems (or I'm just such a noob that I haven't memorized the terrain enough to notice anything is wrong).
