I don't expect it to be an issue. With high polling rate for a mouse, when you move it, you're sending 1000s of updates per second to a game that didn't expect to have to handle that. With high polling rate keyboards you're limited by how fast you can type, so a higher polling rate will just get the info to the game a little sooner, but the amount of information is the same.

DavyChttps://github.com/ldesgoui/tf2-comp-fixes
isn't it included with this and gets enabled when an rgl config is exec'd or am i misunderstanding
You're right, I was thinking of the dedicated plugin but it's already rolled into tf2-comp-fixes. The setting is disabled by default, but the RGL configs enable it.
Intentional, because it's not part of the gameplay affecting plugins allowed by RGL and ETF2L.
Open to adding it, if for example jumpers would really like it. Or RGL/ETF2L could add the plugin to their rules/configs.
Forty-BotI expect I'll have to do something like this again sooner or later.
The slop bots demand more data. Have you considered putting slower pages behind a steam login, or the whole site perhaps?
At serveme.tf, every 2 weeks ChatGPT downloads all the maps, all 100GB of them.
midpointHi, I’m trying to reach the administrator of logs.tf regarding a GDPR erasure request for an account other than this one.
Under Article 12 of the GDPR, data controllers are required to provide a clear and accessible point of contact for privacy-related requests.
Could you please provide a private contact email where such a request can be submitted?
Thank you.
Such a different tone compared to your top 100 slurs.tf profile. The adminstrator of logs.tf is zoob.
Some QoL updates
- Player information on the MOTD page
- Real time server information for your reservation. Server traffic and FPS, player pings + loss
- Improved kick messages in case you're on our (or the league's) naughty list
- Support map uploads larger than 100MB with direct uploads to our CDN
Gsync on, vsync on, limit fps to 3-5 below max refresh of your monitor with the nvidia control panel.
- !lock/!unlock chat commands. !lock sets a random new password and bans people that try to join a locked server. Helps prevent match invading. !unlock changes the password back and allows people to connect again.
- !unbanall, guess...
- OpenAPI / Swagger UI interactive API documentation
badboy69Is this average fps high enough to warrant an upgrade to 144hz? Because there definitely were moments where the game would drop below 144 on like a full casual server or something.
Yes, whenever your FPS is above 60, the 144Hz monitor will be smoother and more responsive than the 60Hz one.
badboy69Do I need a constant fps above 144?
No.
144Hz is so much better than 60Hz, even just moving your cursor on the desktop.
- Improved ping system. Available with the "Server Pings" button when making a reservation. Automatically starts pinging the servers when you open the reservation page.
- SDR finder. If you're unable to connect to the real server IP, or don't want the reservation owner able to see your real IP, this allows you to find the SDR IP:port. Available in each serveme region at the URL /sdr
- NA only: Checkbox to disable RGL's kick-if-you-are-not-recording-demos plugin. This plugin is a requirement for RGL matches, so make sure to keep this unchecked for serious RGL business.
- Include ban reason when kicking banned players. Full ban list viewable here.
lawnn..and serveme's interp limit is 0.2
Interp limits are set by the league configs.
Additionally, StAC enforces stricter interp limits and prevents backtracking. However, the match that got Odin banned was played on May 1st, when a TF2 update broke plugins and StAC was not running.
New (and some older, previously unmentioned) things:
- Enforce league bans for cheating (EU + NA).
- Now storing the zip with logs and demos for longer. We've set up a large backup server to store the zips older than the usual cutoff time of 28 days. See it in action.
- Taken the old KroketBrigade machine out of the datacenter. A combination of its age, recent price hikes and the abundance of NL servers made it unnecessary to keep around.
- Improved autocomplete for web RCON and added keyboard navigation
- Improved payment integration, specifically for those with 2-factor (e.g. 3DSecure) on their credit cards.
- Added map search function calling for the AI to find any available map, with preference for league maps
- Added rcon search function calling for the AI to find relevant commands and server settings, also prevent AI from executing hallucinated commands
- Added reservation control function calling for the AI, to extend or end the reservation
- Let the AI know about previous questions and responses in the current reservation so you can have better interactions.
- Upgraded the AI model so it can do very useful stuff like "!ai rename everyone to names of legendary soccer players". It will still fail if you ask it to do impossible things like modify the specific items on the whitelist on the fly, or giving you a valve rocket launcher.
To keep serveme.tf relevant for the next 20 years, we've fully given into the vibes, embraced exponentials and kinda forgot the code even exists (or that the build fails).
Introducing serveme AI, available now and everywhere for the person that made the reservation, just type !ai and what you need in chat and we'll help you manage your game.
TurbomonkeyRemember when all of ETF2L used a plugin and got their screens secretly recorded taking a screenshot every few mins.
I’m just now remembering how illegal this was.
Do you mean ESL and their Aequitas / Wire anticheat? I don't think you can force client-side screenshots with just a server-side TF2 plugin.
