I hate to be that guy but really.
I was planning on attending, but my lot are at least beginning to seriously think about whether this is a good idea or not. Could anybody here who has decent contact with officials from the event possibly pester for some information on what it's looking like? I'm aware they sent out an email recently but I'm not very familiar with the workings of the event / who from the community has decent contact.

Regardless of whether it seems like it's worth it or not, I'm just going to be realistic and assume the entire thing will be called off come April time. Just want to think about it now so $ losses are kept to a minimum.

It’s a stupid thing to type in a discord and if I were in the admin’s position I would have probably reacted the same way, but after cooling off and realising it was just some kid being an idiot I’m sure most of us would agree five years is a bit ridiculous.
