cl_interp vs cl_interp_ratio - so which is it?

Hello. I'm pretty new to this interp thing, so now I'm confused. Historically, 33.3ms was considered perfect lerp timing for hitscan weapons(still is afaik), done by setting cl_interp 0.033. However, the recommended way to set it these days is cl_interp 0; cl_interp_ratio 2, which gives me 30.3ms, not 33.3! Do these 3ms affect anything? Which one is better?

Actually 30.3 is the right value, it is a popular misconception that 33.3 is the right value.
