Instant game freeze. (HELP)

Aight so when i press any key for the voice menu (1,2,3) game would freeze for a second or two. I don't understand why is that happening right now.

Tried without custom hud? Because it might be a hud animation hijacking the voice menu show/hide animation

I may try that but since I had a lot of custom huds before and they never did something like that.
