Improving player visibility help

Hello all. I've been having a problem for a while now, mostly on scout, actually seeing and tracking players that should be pretty obvious. I blame this primarily on getting older but I was hoping people could recommend graphics configs/specific commands/monitor settings to look into to help keep players as visible as possible. I have a good pc so fps isn't a concern.

I had the same problem so I changed to high vibrance and high lod textures and for me it made stuff easier to see, also removed everything that could be in the way or be distracting like hats, explosions, blood, tracers etc.

I actually messed around in the color settings in my graphics drivers to make things 'pop' a bit more. Seemed to help. Also, using unlit character models helped quite a bit, though I think that only works on sv_pure 0.
