In the middle of using my pc, microphone + sound suddenly don't work anymore.
Restarting my pc appeared to fix the sound, but microphone still doesn't work
I presume the issue is something to do with the USB soundcard; I've had the headset for ages though without this issue.
Is this a common issue with this headset?

Hi funs you are not alone. I have experienced the same issue. My mic doesn't work with the soundcard anymore. Try using it with your onboard sound and see what happens if this problem is still persisting. If the headset is still within warranty then I suggest you try sending it back.
