I'm moving back to Cali next month. I haven't lived there since I was 5 and I have no idea what there is out there now. Well, besides the beaches/piers. LA still any fun? What about surrounding areas?

You might find hiking in the San Gabriel mountains fun, but it tends to be a lot greener on the LA side so it might not be as enjoyable. If you can get to the LA side, one of my favorite spots to hike is Chantry Flats, which is dense and green year round. I don't know much about the Victorville area tho tbh.
