Why do dm servers still ban weapons that are allowed in 6s? For example the loch 'n load. It could be a viable weapon in 6s but the reason some people don't use it is simply because it's banned in dm so if you dm as demo you're getting used to normal pipes.
Also is there no way to fix the cow mangler bug where you don't get ammo (and health? not sure) back when you kill someone? Sure it's still playable but it makes playing with the cow mangler in dm pretty frustrating. And just using the rocket launcher in dm isn't quite as good because the rl rockets come out of the screen farther on the right than cow mangler rockets do.

On melkor.tf DM I set up the TF2Pickup's DM whitelist, as this was what people were used to back then. But unbanning loch'n'load and cow mangler (provided it is fixed on DM) may be a good point right now. I don't see any reasons why these weapons would be overpowered in DM scenario.

Yes please the loch is dumb but it is viable unlike the direct hit. I don't know if it's possible to fix the cow mangler but I'll be grateful if someone does.
