Battlefield 1 is actually a ton of fun if you're willing to pay $60 for it.

Battlefield 1, especially when playing with 4 friends in a squad. Very pretty, runs well, plays well.

Kinda chaotic if you don't know the maps or play 64-player conquest maps. Operations and rush with 20v20s is great.

emulating old console games through emulators like dolphin is always fun, you can play single player games like the paper mario series or multiplayer games with friends like smash and mario party

on steam, i was really big into rogue legacy for a while, the rogue-lite aspects and art style were the big draws into the game for me, if you're willing to drop $20, h1z1 kotk is a fun multiplayer battle royale you can play with up to 4 other people

fps-wise i would suggest:

Singleplayer: Black Mesa, Rise of the Triad.
Both have insanely involving level design and a very free to derp around game engines.

Multiplayer:
Halo
You should definetely find a chance to play Halo, even if it's the old ones on 360. Always fun for a lan party and very intuitive in online environment for a tf2 players i feel like, judging from my own experience.

And, yes, Owerwatch.
If you set your mindset to not rage at the spells and pick the most basic characters, preferably those which reward your tracking/aiming game the most it will be fun to farm those poor LoL players. And for those who struggle to find fun on the first look - you can always just focus on your inner dueling passion by mirroring the pick of someone on the enemy team and trying to outplay him.

Quake live. Still the best multiplayer FPS, not close.

murkscribemmrarktedont play bioshock infinite, one of the most pseudo-intellectual and bland games to come out recently
its bad compared to the original bioshocks and awful in comparison to system shock

I agree with that. I mean story wise there's a lot of plot holes and it's rather pretentious with the multiple universes and "tears". But its still artistically visually appealing to look at and it's got good gameplay elements, if it wanted to accomplish a more deep intricate story line, having it as a first person shooter probably got in the way of it.

I was with you until that last part. Since when are FPSs incapable of having good storylines?

On the thread topic, I know you mainly wanted multi-player FPS recommendations, but you already have a few of those soooo I love roguelikes. If you ever feel like playing one, Binding of Isaac and Crypt of the Necrodancer are both really fun and full of personality. The Necrodancer trailer is one of the few game trailers that ever actually made me wanna buy something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al8TlAtLu2Y

join the CPMA discord and get yourself a good 1-2 hours of tryhard yet satisfying gameplay every evening

original cod: mw is incredible especially after you set up codX, would definitely recommend it over remaster

oh and if you're looking for some single player action do check out S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, its totally worth it; only recently i realized this game isnt that popular and that's a shame coz its among the best russian/cis games ever made
