I'm thinking about buying a laptop. Also i can't use a desktop because i live in 2 places and need to use it for uni
I would like it to run tf2 at a stable 100 fps with a graphic cfg. I've seen an offer around 700€ with those specs :
CPU : Intel® Dual-Core Core™ i5-4200H
RAM : 6Go
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950M ( N16P-GT)
It has 1 To data which is way more than i really need so that might be why the price is that high
So would these specs allow me to have at least 100 stable fps ? Ideal would be 150 with a graphic cfg
edit : -Another offer at the same price with 8gb ram and this CPU :Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ otherwise same specs
-Another at the same price with 6gb ram and this CPU :Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M - Intel HD Graphics 530 - 4 Go DDR3L SDRAM and 1To

you are not giving enough info on those specs, you've got links to these laptops? You can also wait for Setsul

Dont worry about ram/storage most laptops let this be upgraded easily.
As the specs are the same other than the cpu.
The i5-4200H is a dual core hyperthreaded whereas the i5-6300HQ has 4 physical cores and is a year newer design. However the i5-4200H has a 500 MHz higher base clock and 200MHz boost clock, and it scores better on single core benchmarks. This will probably not translate proportionally to ingame performace but the 4200H would probably be a bit better at running TF2 than the 6300HQ. However if you want to play any game that started its development in the current decade, it would probably be better to purchase the 6300HQ, also if you do any video editing or simulation as part of your university work it may also be a better choice in that regard.

tl;dr one slightly better at tf2 approx. 10% but older and worse in other games/applications

alright thank you very much for your answer
The 3rd one has the same graphical card as the first one (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M) but has this too - Intel HD Graphics 530 - 4 Go DDR3L SDRAM
Is it important for tf2 ?

They're all going to have integrated video cards like the intel 530. Makes no difference. Look at the dedicated card instead.

Even a low end dedicated card is MUCH better than Intel integrated. Last time i tried integrated Intel graphics i couldn't get them to run 144hz, it had input lag even at 200fps, and there was visual glitching in a lot of games even when they ran at decent FPS.
